NEW CLASS:
Accelerated Welding Academy - This grant funded class prepares students for a career in welding. Students will get 10 hours of welding classroom instruction and 30 hours of hands on welding experience along with OSHA 10 certification. Class starts July 28. ABE/GED Class
We are here to help you prepare to take a GED test, complete requirements for an Minnesota State Adult Diploma or brush up on your basic literacy skills. Instruction is provided one to one, small groups, independent study, and distance learning. Complete the Class Interest Form or call to schedule an intake appointment. Intake sessions are approximately 2 hours and involve a reading and math assessment to place you appropriately in the right level and to develop a personal education plan.

English Language Learner Classes
English Language Learner (ELL) class is for individuals whose first language is not English. Training is designed to help participants improve their English reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. HVAE offers FREE in person classes, online classes, one on one tutors and an open classroom to help learners work on their English skills. Visit our ELL Class Information page for more information.
