New Classes
Community Interpreter Certification Class - We will be offering another Community Interpreter class. The class starts on January 26. Students must be multilingual to enroll in this class. Contact us today as this class fills up fast! Click on link below for more information.
Community Interpreter January Class
Bridges to Healthcare Program - This grant funded program is a collaboration between HVAE, Workforce Development Inc. and Minnesota State College Southeast. The program supports students in offering free CNA or Medication Aide training. The next CNA class starts in February. Contact Kayla at 651-309-3541 to get started today!
ABE/GED Class
We are here to help you prepare to take a GED test, complete requirements for an Minnesota State Adult Diploma or brush up on your basic literacy skills. Instruction is provided one to one, small groups, independent study, and distance learning. Complete the Class Interest Form or call to schedule an intake appointment. Intake sessions are approximately 2 hours and involve a reading and math assessment to place you appropriately in the right level and to develop a personal education plan.

English Language Learner Classes
English Language Learner (ELL) class is for individuals whose first language is not English. Training is designed to help participants improve their English reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. HVAE offers FREE in person classes, online classes, one on one tutors and an open classroom to help learners work on their English skills. Visit our ELL Class Information page for more information.
